Our research starts from the traditional fields of biology, biophysics, chemistry, food and material science to synergistically tackle the challenges and opportunities of biological processes as well as those of new sustainable and active materials.

More specifically, together we aim at understanding the molecular fundamental principles of how molecular networks shape cellular life and organization and at inspiring the design of a new generation of sustainable, active and bio-mimetic materials.
